At Dream Trip Travels, we understand that plans can change. That's why we've designed our cancellation and refund policies to be as flexible and transparent as possible while maintaining our commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment against unforeseen circumstances that may require you to cancel or interrupt your trip.
Important Note: The following policy applies to standard tour packages. Special promotions, discounted tours, or customized itineraries may have different cancellation terms that will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
Standard Cancellation Terms
The following cancellation fees apply to all standard tour packages
Cancellation Fee Schedule
More than 45 days before departure
Full refund minus the deposit amount
30-44 days before departure
50% of the total tour cost is refundable
15-29 days before departure
25% of the total tour cost is refundable
Less than 15 days before departure
No refund is available
* The deposit amount is typically 25% of the total tour cost and is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
Special Circumstances
We understand that sometimes cancellations are unavoidable due to circumstances beyond your control
Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure events (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemic restrictions), we will work with you to reschedule your tour at no additional cost or provide a credit for future travel. If neither option is suitable, we will assess refund possibilities on a case-by-case basis.
Tour Cancellation by Us
In the rare event that Dream Trip Travels must cancel a tour, you will receive a full refund of all payments made, or you may choose to apply your payment toward an alternative tour. We are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred in preparing for the tour.
Tour Changes & Date Modifications
Requests to change tour dates are subject to availability and may incur a rebooking fee of $50. Changes made less than 30 days before departure will be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, with standard cancellation fees applying.
Special Case Considerations
We evaluate circumstances such as medical emergencies, bereavement, or other significant life events on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as soon as possible if such situations arise, and we will work with you to find the most suitable solution.
Refund Process
When a refund is due according to our policy, here's what you can expect:
- Cancellation Request: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to our customer service team at cancellations@dreamtriptravels.com.
- Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation of your cancellation request within 24-48 hours, along with details of any applicable refund.
- Processing Time: Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days of confirming your cancellation.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for booking. Credit card refunds may take an additional 5-7 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
- Currency: Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original payment. Any currency conversion fees or fluctuations are beyond our control.
Note: Administration fees, visa fees, and travel insurance premiums are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Even with our flexible cancellation policy, unforeseen events can disrupt your travel plans. A good travel insurance policy typically covers:

Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
Yes, you can transfer your booking to another person if you're unable to travel, provided they meet all necessary requirements for the tour. A name change fee of $100 may apply, and any additional costs (such as visa fees) will be the responsibility of the new traveler.
What if I need to leave a tour early?
If you need to depart from a tour early, no refunds will be provided for unused services or accommodations. We recommend discussing your situation with your tour guide who can help minimize disruption and assist with any necessary arrangements.
Do you offer any "cancel for any reason" options?
We offer a Premium Booking Protection add-on that allows you to cancel for any reason up to 30 days before departure for a 75% refund of the total tour cost. This optional protection can be added at the time of booking for an additional fee of 10% of your tour price.
What if I book a tour on promotion or with a discount?
Special promotions, discounted tours, and flash sales may have more restrictive cancellation policies. These terms will be clearly communicated during the booking process. Generally, heavily discounted tours are non-refundable but may be transferable to another person or date.
